古代微生物可能在大氧化事件前500万年就开始使用氧气
麻省理工大学研究人员追踪回溯了一个关键的氧气处理酶，发现早期微生物可能在氧气产生的细菌附近使用氧气，导致氧气在大气中缓慢上升。研究结果表明，生命可能比之前想象的要早得多地适应了氧气，并且适应方式更加创造性。
