My itinerary started when I tried for the first time to pass the SAT exam; I got 1050. A year whizzed by in the blink of an eye, and I was still worried about passing the SAT exam because I knew how arduous it is. A friend of mine said that there is a group in a Telegram channel that helps people get their dream scores. So, I attended the free webinars where Boburjon and Mr. Yokubjon were giving a masterclass on how to ace each section. To me, they came across as people who were well-versed in their subjects. In a jiff, I enrolled in their courses.
In the instance of Boburjon, his lovely techniques—i.e., calling his students with certain nicknames to create a sense of competitiveness among students —and the way he silver-tonguedly executed them were impeccable. After making mistakes in my first classes, Boburjon assigned 15 articles to read. “WHAT A PURGATORY EXPERIENCE,” I’d say dolefully. Little did I know that after that, I would be engrossed in reading them without a nagging from Boburjon. WE SOLVED TONS OF VERBAL PROBLEMS. On test day, as I worked through the problems, a grin appeared on my face because the questions seemed so easy.
Now going to my nemesis—speaking of which, I mean math. I was uninitiated in the math section, and generally, it was a bit confusing for me to understand math concepts. However, in the first class, I saw my savior, who single-handedly solved every question by using Desmos. At first glance, it was really complicated—even looking at Desmos (just a run-of-the-mill calculator—what is so surprising about this? I asked inwardly). But slowly, as the classes went on, I realized that what once seemed complicated was actually a powerful tool. With practice and guidance, math stopped being my nemesis and instead became another part of the SAT I could finally take on with confidence. In my recollection, I even asked Mr.Yokubjon what I should do since I had solved every possible math question; oooh boy, this man somehow found new problems ready to be surmounted. He literally gave birth to new questions ahahhaha
Undaunted in the face of uncertainty, I persevered, and eventually, with the tutelage of these teachers, I got my long-coveted score!!!! God bless them. God bless Makon.
