Use the steps below before trusting any account or message.
1. Verify Usernames Carefully
Make sure our real username is shown in the actual Username field (not in Bio or Location). Scammers often fake it by putting our username in their bio or location to look legitimate.
Watch out for Telegram hyperlink tricks: Scammers can send Telegram messages that look like “@username” while the actual hidden link points somewhere else. Never click, always type the @username yourself.
2. Check Profile Screenshots
Check the screenshot attached which displays our Telegram profiles. Compare it with the profile you are talking to. If there are differences, you are not speaking with us.
3. Check Mutual Groups
Click the direct profile links below and check the groups in common on our profile. If the profile doesn't match the conversation or group chat, you are not speaking with us.
