A security incident affecting customer order information

Dear community,

We’d like to keep everyone informed of an important security disclosure.

First of all, your SafePal wallet, seed phrase and private keys are secure and were not involved in this incident. It also did not involve wallet passwords, or other wallet credentials, bank account information, payment card numbers, or government-issued identification numbers.

We have identified and fixed an authorization flaw in our order-tracking plug-in that allowed unauthorized access to order information belonging to a subset of customers. The issue has been fixed and additional access controls and anomaly detection are now in place.

Never share your seed phrase, private key, or password with anyone, and stay vigilant against phishing or impersonation attempts. SafePal will never ask for your seed phrase, private key or password, through any channel under any circumstance. Any letter claiming to be from us is a scam as SafePal does not send security notices by post.
