Как корректно ответить на вопрос о прерванном рабочем опыте, если было сокращение? Вот пример.

Вопрос: Can you explain the gap in your resume?

Ответ: Of course. During [specific time period], I was laid off due to [company reason, such as restructuring, downsizing, or economic conditions]. This was a challenging experience, but I used the time productively. I focused on [mention any professional development activities, such as acquiring new skills, certifications, or volunteering]. I also took the opportunity to reassess my career goals and ensure that my next position would be a great fit for both my skills and aspirations. This period has given me a fresh perspective and renewed determination to contribute effectively to my next role.
