IMO, we could see another “squirrel” before the election.
The PNUT timeline in 2024 was almost too perfect.
Oct 17 — Musk begins his America PAC town halls in Pennsylvania.
Oct 19 — the $1M-a-day swing-state petition story begins.
Oct 30 — Peanut and Fred are seized by New York authorities.
Nov 1–2 — the story goes national.
Nov 2–4 — Musk starts relentlessly pushing Peanut on X: memes, reposts, “Obi PNut Kenobi,” “President Trump will save the squirrels,” etc.
Right before Election Day:
“Vote For PNut! For Liberty! For Freedom!”
Nov 5 — Election Day.
Within days, a viral animal story turned into a massive internet meme at exactly the right moment in the political news cycle.
That's why I'm watching for the same attention pattern to repeat.
It doesn't have to literally be another squirrel.
It just needs the same ingredients:
emotion + conflict with the system/government + organic virality + Musk amplification + perfect political timing.
If something like that appears right before the election and Musk picks it up as aggressively as he did PNUT, the memecoin market will almost certainly notice.
