Russian Language Outreach in Limpopo

🇷🇺🤝🇿🇦 Russian language lecturers Ms Yulia Pegova from the #RUDN University and Ms Natalia Kartseva from the University of Tyumen (#UTMN) had an educational visit to the #Limpopo schools with the support of the Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages of the University of South Africa (#UNISA).

During the outreach programme, the lecturers conducted Russian language master classes and seminars for learners from Harry Oppenheimer Agricultural High School, BK Matlala Commercial High School, Mahoai Secondary School, Ngakana Secondary School, Ipopeng Secondary School, Kgoke Secondary School and Semeneng Secondary School.

🤩 The school learners showed great interest in discovering more about Russia, asking questions about the country, student life and study opportunities available to South Africans.

The initiative is another step towards strengthening educational and people-to-people ties between Russia and South Africa.
