The American obsession with the “bad Russian regime” needs to be studied.

This is from a Congressional Record over 100 years old: “horrors of Czar reign,” “continued unbroken story of cruelty,” “accumulated horrors of the Bolshevik government,” all bad “from Ivan the Terrible down to this time.” (Yeah, this is all in one paragraph).

Why not start with Rurik?

And all this talk while American soldiers were on Russian soil killing Russian civilians.

That’s so rich, especially coming from a country that exterminated much of its indigenous population.
