⚡️ Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation:

The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (#FSB) has detained a Swedish national in the Sebezh District of the Pskov Region after he illegally crossed the Russian Federation’s State border from a neighbouring country.

It has been established that, between February and June 2026, the foreign national served under contract in an organisation designated as terrorist in the Russian Federation, commanding an unmanned aircraft systems squad in the 24th Separate assault battalion.

❗️ There is documentary evidence confirming his participation in hostilities against our country as a member of the Ukrainian armed forces.

Under the guise of joining the Russian Armed Forces, he was travelling to the Russian Federation to carry out acts of sabotage and terrorism against military facilities.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated against the foreign national under Part 1 of Article 322 of the Russian Criminal Code (Illegal Crossing of the State Border of the Russian Federation).

The initiation of further criminal proceedings under Article 205.5 (Organising the Activities of a Terrorist Organisation and Participating in Its Activities) and Article 359 (Mercenary Activities) of the Russian Criminal Code is under consideration.
