❗️ Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov awards the commander of corvette Soobrazitelny for competent and decisive actions in preventing provocation of Danish Air Force helicopter in Baltic Sea.

For skilful and decisive actions in preventing the provocation by a helicopter of the Air Force of Denmark, the commander of the corvette Soobrazitelny was awarded the medal 'For Combat Distinctions' by Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov.

On 14 September, at 14:22, the corvette Soobrazitelny of the Baltic Fleet performed tasks in neutral waters in the south-western part of the Baltic Sea, detected an aerial target identified as the Danish Air Force Fennec-type helicopter, which was approaching the Russian warship and did not respond to calls via the international channel.

In order to prevent the provocation of the Danish helicopter, the commander of the corvette decided to launch two red light flares, after which the helicopter left the area of the Russian warship.
