The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved mFLUSIVA® (mRNA-1010), a new vaccine against seasonal influenza, for use in all adults 50 years and older. This approval follows unanimous recommendations from the FDA's Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee supporting mFLUSIVA for adults 50 years of age and older.
mFLUSIVA uses the same Moderna mRNA-LNP platform as their COVID-19 vaccines like Spikevax. Both deliver modified mRNA in lipid nanoparticles that cells are meant to translate into a viral surface protein—hemagglutinin for flu strains, spike for SARS-CoV-2—to trigger immunity. This is the first area it fails at. The toxicology is atrocious.
