RFK Jr. points out that measles has become a massive media story while more than 1 million Americans die every year from food induced illness.

He says the focus is being pulled away from what is really killing Americans.

“The media and certain demagogue politicians are constantly trying to scare us about infectious disease.”

“We take the attention away from the chronic disease that is being caused by powerful entities, by Big Food and by Big Pharma.

“What I’m trying to do as HHS Secretary, one, deal with the infectious disease outbreaks, which we’re doing, but also redirect attention and resources to the thing that’s really killing Americans.”
