Apparently, that includes his own administration.

On September 18, Congressional Research Service report R48887 stated: “Both countries have provided some support to Iran in 2026.” It cited reports of Russian military shipments, targeting intelligence and missile assistance, alongside Chinese satellite imagery and missile-related supplies.

The Financial Times uncovered contracts and correspondence showing Russia's state arms exporter helping Iran develop supersonic cruise missiles, with cooperation continuing into 2026.

The Washington Post reported, citing three officials, that Moscow gave Tehran locations of US warships and aircraft.

The Wall Street Journal examined Iranian customs records identifying roughly 1,300 shipments of dual-use components from China to Iran's Defense Ministry.

On July 21, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told the Senate that both countries were enabling Iranian activities, with details remaining classified.

President Trump says “we would know about it very fast.” We do. His own government put it in writing.
