🇪🇹 - The situation in the Tigray region has deteriorated rapidly over the weekend, with the Ethiopian National Defence Force, ENDF, advancing across multiple fronts and forcing further Tigray Defence Forces, TDF, withdrawals.

Adigrat direction: ENDF forces have captured Fadi and the border town of Zalambessa, reaching Eritrean territory. Initial reports suggest that TDF units operating in this area had withdrawn towards Eritrean territory.

Adwa direction: ENDF forces continued their push from Hawzen, reaching Nebelet. Unlike the Adigrat axis, TDF units are offering significant resistance along this front. Additionally, ENDF launched a pincer movement south of Adwa along the Mekele-Abiy Addi road, establishing control over the entire area between Werkamba and Idaga Arbi.

Sheraro direction: Following the capture of Shire, ENDF seized the major TDF stronghold of Adi Dairo, as well as the strategic Seyemti Adiyabo junction.

Aksum direction: ENDF forces advanced eastwards from Shire, capturing Wukro. Heavy fighting has since been reported on the town's eastern outskirts as TDF forces mount a determined defense of the holy city of Aksum. The loss of Aksum will be a major symbolic victory for Addis Ababa over the Tigray Defense Forces.
