🇺🇸⚡️- Cornell President Michael Kotlikoff has released a full video statement on the Cornell 7.

Kotlikoff affirms that he and the school believes The 7 are guilty by saying “What happened to Jane Doe in 2024 is deeply disturbing and will weigh heavily on our community for years to come,"

He goes on to say “My heart aches when I think of what she experienced,” Kotlikoff said. “It raises heartbreaking and troubling issues about sexual assault, dehumanization, and aspects of party culture, alcohol, and drug use.”

Kotlikoff says he supports New York State taking over the investigation into The 7. Cornell’s Board of Trustees will also announce details next week of an outside independent investigation alongside the State.

Kotlikoff also took aim at Greek Life saying the University will "take a serious look at the role of fraternities and sororities".

All Greek life events have been cancelled this weekend, major protests are planned at the school on Monday by student groups calling for Kotlikoff's resignation. The Professors Union has also condemned him and demanded "accountability".
