🇺🇸⚡️ — Two U.S. Navy aviators ejected while attempting to land on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower off the coast of Virginia on Monday evening after a “mishap” during aircraft recovery operations.

Both were quickly rescued, returned to the carrier and taken for medical evaluation.

Four sailors aboard the ship were also injured, with one transported to a Norfolk-area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The Navy did not identify the aircraft involved or provide details on what caused the incident.
