🇫🇷 - Today is the 257th birthday of the Emperor of France, Napoleon Bonaparte.

Bonaparte is among the greatest of the European race, as under his rule, he propelled the French Empire to conquer Europe and usher in the Napoleonic era, which dominated Europe physically and spiritually for decades.

A description of Napoleon by German philosopher Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel: “I saw the Emperor – this world-soul – riding out of the city on reconnaissance. It is indeed a wonderful sensation to see such an individual, who, concentrated here at a single point, astride a horse, reaches out over the world and masters it.”
