🇵🇸🇪🇬🇮🇱⚡- Cairo is requesting permission from Tel Aviv to use its own Egypt-Rafah border crossing with the Gaza Strip, Walla reports.

The Egypt-Rafah crossing is currently under Israeli forces control. Israel is determined to prevent the opening of the Egypt-Rafah crossing, as it will allow the transfer of goods into the strip without Israeli inspection. Israel instead insists, telling Washington and the Gaza Board of Peace, that the entry of goods must pass through the Kerem Shalom crossing only.
