🇻🇪🇺🇸⚡️ — Venezuelan Interim President Delcy Rodríguez told TIME Magazine that she believes Nicolás Maduro's biggest mistake was leaving Venezuela too internationally isolated, arguing the country should have maintained more open and diversified geopolitical relationships, particularly with the U.S.

She said her government is working to rebuild international trust and expand diplomatic ties.

Asked whether she has communicated with Maduro since his transfer to a U.S. federal prison, Rodríguez said she has had very little contact, receiving only messages through his lawyers.

Rodríguez noted Maduro believes the developments in Venezuela have been very positive.
