The Spanish government is falsely implying these thousands of returned immigrants were reconducted thanks to local law enforcement. They were not. Most of the returned immigrants are from yesterday's initial waves, and they went back to Morocco as they had no means to cross into mainland Spain or did not find food or a place to sleep.
