🇺🇬🇪🇬🇸🇴⚡- Henry Oryem Okello Ugandan Foreign Minister expresses concern and strongly disagrees with Egypt's sudden interest in providing military support for Somalia.

Ugandan troops have been involved in peacekeeping efforts in Somalia since 2007. Okello blasts Egypt for trying to "distract" the issue from "stabilizing Somalia" into a political "conflict with Ethiopia".

Later this month the second 'Nile Summit' will be held in Uganda which will bring together the upstream countries and could deprive Egypt of its historical rights over the Nile's water resources.
