perhaps it is the way everything becomes softer beneath violet skies, or the way familiar places begin to resemble memories before the day has even ended. sometimes i find myself lingering a little longer than necessary, watching the evening settle into shades of lavender and blue.

it reminds me that not everything is meant to stay exactly as it was.
