Projects That Shut Down Recently
Eight crypto projects have announced shutdowns since August, and not one of them was hacked. They closed because running them cost more than they earned.
The list covers every layer of the market. Exchanges are leaving: BitMart ended trading after nine years and CoinEx closes on December 22. L2s are folding as well. Blast once held $2B+ and Abstract onboarded 400K users, yet both are shutting their chains.
The apps went first: the Printr launchpad, the Trepa prediction market, Flash Trade perps and Step App, one of the last move-to-earn survivors.
If you still have funds on any of these, check the deadlines. Blast's standard interface closes on October 26. On Abstract, anything not bridged by December 15 becomes inaccessible.
