So, I got preoccupied with summer, work and my thesis and haven't had an inspiraton to write something non-academic for a while. 🪴

Little did I know, the thing that made me reconsider the choice to return with reviews only come September was...the fact that I've read 3 books in a row that were inferior to their cinematic counterparts. Three! In a row!1 american, 1 british and 1 chinese.

I'm considering combining all three into 1 short review (or not). You'll have to wait till Friday to see, though.

Okay, no more stalling, getting back to the world of academics for now 🙃
