💬Israeli Channel 14: The system of fees for passage through the Strait of Hormuz extends beyond the oil industry.

According to Israeli Channel 14, state media outlets affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) are reporting that technology giants such as Google, Meta, and Amazon should annually pay $15 billion for passage through the strait, obtaining security permits, as well as for transferring maintenance of underwater infrastructure and cables to Iranian companies in the Persian Gulf.
