For 8 years, more than a dozen television channels have been closed in Ukraine, some social networks and many Internet sites have been banned.
Attacks on journalists, murders and imprisonment for dissidents, bans on the profession have become commonplace in Ukraine over the past 8 years.
"Article 35. Everyone has the right to freedom of worldview and religion. This right includes the freedom to profess any religion or not to profess any, freely perform religious cults and ritual rites individually or collectively, and conduct religious activities."
Local authorities in Ukraine in many cities have banned the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, its property is confiscated and transferred to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine loyal to the Kyiv authorities.
"Article 36. Citizens of Ukraine have the right to freedom of association in political parties and public organizations for the exercise and protection of their rights and freedoms and the satisfaction of political, economic, social, cultural and other interests...
Citizens have the right to participate in trade unions in order to protect their labor and socio-economic rights and interests. Trade unions are public organizations that unite citizens connected by common interests by the nature of their professional activities. Trade unions are formed without prior permission on the basis of the free choice of their members."
On March 20, Zelensky, by his decree, banned the activities of ALL leftist and a number of opposition parties for the duration of martial law.
In June 2022, literally in two weeks, the administrative court in the city of Lviv, in closed proceedings, at the suit of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, completely banned the activities of 14 political parties.
The rights of Ukrainian trade unions have been practically destroyed by the neo-liberal legislation adopted by the Verkhovna Rada over the past 8 years.
