In Ukraine, for 6 days, an administrative court in the city of Lviv banned 6 left-wing and opposition political parties.

On June 14, this court banned three parties at once: Ours, Derzhava, and the Vladimir Saldo Bloc.

Saldo was elected mayor of the city of Kherson three times.

His party Vladimir Saldo Bloc has factions in the city council of the city of Kherson and the regional council of the Kherson region.

After Russian troops entered Kherson on March 2, 2022, Saldo became the head of the new administration of the Kherson region.

On March 20, Vladimir Saldo's assistant, Pavel Slobodchikov, was killed in Kherson.

Thus, in Ukraine, according to the decision of the Lviv court, 6 parties are banned:

opposition bloc,
socialists,
justice and development,
Our,
Derzhava,
Block Vladimir Saldo.

On June 16, 2022, the same Lviv court will consider lawsuits to ban the Left Opposition, the Sharia Party, and the Opposition Platform for Life.

Later, the court will consider claims to ban the Socialist Party of Ukraine, the Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine, the Union of Left Forces.

The activity of the Communist Party of Ukraine was banned by law back in 2015.

There is no doubt that in the current climate of strangulation of civil liberties in Ukraine, all these parties will be banned.
