On June 11, 2022, the prosecutor's office of the city of Kyiv reported that the Podolsky District Court of Kyiv sentenced a local resident to 1 month of arrest for "denying the aggression of the Russian Federation" (Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine): https://www.facebook.com/964575253553837/posts /5736401606371154/.
In phone conversations that he had in March and April 2022, the man "denied the killings and rapes of the civilian population of Ukraine by Russian military personnel."
The Court considers that these conversations "may be considered a denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation".
Recall that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dismissed the Ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova, including for the fact that she reported on the rape of women, men and children by Russian soldiers, and at the same time did not provide any evidence of these "rapes".
Moreover, she herself stated that she spoke about the "rapes" in the Italian Parliament only in order for the Italian deputies to vote for the continuation of the war in Ukraine and for providing weapons to the Kyiv authorities: https://lb.ua/news/2022/06/ 03/518875_lyudmila_denisova_azovtsi_z.html.
The decision of the Podolsky court also shows the fact that the special services of the Kyiv authorities listen to private conversations of Ukrainians on the phone.
And he persecutes Ukrainians for expressing their opinion not even publicly (in the media or social networks), but in private conversations.
