On June 10, 2022, Zelensky finally answered the petition to lift the ban on the travel of men aged 18 to 60 from Ukraine abroad. Answer posted June 11th.

The petition was published on May 18 and very quickly gained more than 25,000 signatures needed for the President to respond to it.

Zelensky refused to lift the ban on Ukrainians traveling abroad and did not agree to mobilize only volunteers into the army, and not all Ukrainian men.

Obviously, the Ukrainian armed forces have an acute shortage of soldiers and military commissars deliver summonses to the army right at automobile gas stations and swimming pools (in the video - a swimming pool in Transcarpathia, western Ukraine).

Corruption has also grown in Ukraine: for a bribe of several thousand dollars (for Ukraine - a large amount), citizens can avoid mobilization or, contrary to the ban, go abroad.
