On June 4, 2022, a court in Odessa extended the arrest of journalist Yuri Tkachev until August 2022.
At the same time, the court reduced the bail for the release of the journalist from UAH 1,250,000 to UAH 200,000.
Yuriy Tkachev was detained by the Security Service of Ukraine on March 19 in Odessa and is still behind bars.
The journalist was charged with "illegal possession of weapons and explosives" and "high treason".
On the same day, 17 people were detained in Odessa on similar charges.
