"Kyiv Pride" - a demonstration of activists of the LGBT movement. This action took place in Ukraine for several years under heavy police protection.

Representatives of Ukrainian ultra-right formations each time attacked the participants of the Kyiv Pride.

At the same time, Western diplomats themselves participated in Kyiv Pride in order to protect LGBT people.

In 2022, in the context of the “patriotic” and militaristic hysteria that reigns in Ukraine, an attempt to hold a “Kyiv Pride” in Kyiv or any city that is under the control of the Kyiv authorities may lead to armed attacks by ultra-right and Nazi formations on a demonstration and to many victims.

Therefore, activists of the Ukrainian LGBT movement decided to hold "Kyiv Pride" in Warsaw.

However, as we can see, the Ukrainian ultra-right, some of which are in the armed forces of Ukraine, do not abandon their attempts to disrupt the "Kyiv Pride" in Warsaw as well.

The military said that the LGBT community in Ukraine is "Russian canned food" that should be condemned along with Putin.

Conservatives from the All Together! they say that the holding of "Kyiv Pride" in Warsaw is "an attempt to impose unacceptable leftist and socialist ideas on Polish society."

Moreover, Ukrainian conservatives say that "the ideas of the LGBT group have common roots with pro-Russian communist rhetoric."

Conservatives call their position of “categorically condemning Kyiv Pride” the position of “civil society” in Ukraine.

In fact, neither anti-communism nor homophobia has become the position of the entire civil society.

But anti-communism and the persecution of the left movement have become an integral part of the Ukrainian state ideology and propaganda.

Both the Ukrainian military and Ukrainian conservatives like "All Together!" emphasize that the Polish government is conservative and has always opposed the LGBT movement. And they hope for a corresponding reaction from the Polish establishment.

In turn, Ukrainian LGBT activists dissociate themselves from the leftist movement and emphasize their Ukrainian "patriotism" in every possible way.

In Ukraine, the LGBT movement even uses the term "homo-nationalism" to characterize such a position.

Such a position of Ukrainian LGBT activists to be more nationalistic than nationalists is obviously explained by the desire to protect themselves from the attacks of the nationalists themselves.

The same motives are present on the part of the former Ukrainian left, which now fully supported the Kyiv authorities and Western imperialism, which completely eliminated the independence of Ukraine. They already deny the association of the Kyiv state apparatus with the Nazis and even write denunciations on their former comrades on social networks.

This is a perfect illustration of the term "social fascism".

But, as we see, such a strange position of LGBT activists and former leftists, which consists in currying favor with their persecutors, has not brought and, obviously, will not bring them "atonement for sins."
