On June 4, 2022, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced in absentia that the former head of the bus station in the village of Chernobaevka (Kherson region, under the control of Russian troops) Yury Turulev was suspected of committing a crime.
The SBU accuses Turulev of agreeing to head the local administration, is a supporter of the "Russian world" and "persecutes pro-Ukrainian residents."
Turulev, if he falls into the hands of the SBU, faces 10 years in prison for "collaboration activities" (Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The Kyiv authorities have repeatedly stated that Ukrainian troops captured Chernobaevka.
Now, after this statement by the SBU, it is obvious that Chernobaevka is in the hands of the Russian army.
