“I received a message through the Telegram messenger: “Dad, they took me because of you, tomorrow at 11:00 they will get in touch. They told me that they represent the special operations forces of Ukraine," Demchenko said in Donetsk.
The kidnappers offered Demchenko to disclose information about the DPR servicemen and lists of Ukrainian prisoners of war. At the same time, they threatened to kill their daughter.
Previously, Demchenko lived near Kharkov, where his daughter now lives.
