On June 3, 2022, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced that it had detained in the Cherkasy region (under the control of the Kyiv authorities) "an active admirer of the Shariy Party."

The detainee is a former employee of the executive authorities and, according to the SBU, was an agent of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (the Russian analogue of the SBU).
The SBU found a whole arsenal of weapons in the detainee and accused him of "high treason" (Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
We reported on many cases of arrests of supporters of the opposition Shariy Party.
We also reported that the Kyiv authorities uncontrollably issued weapons to the population, starting from February 24, 2022.
