There is no doubt that in the conditions of the “patriotic” and militaristic hysteria prevailing in Ukraine, and in the conditions of pressure on the court, all the named parties will be banned within a month, as prescribed by the law recently adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the ban on “pro-Russian” parties.
Appeals, if any, will be considered by the Supreme Court of Ukraine. His decision will be final.
On March 20, 2022, Zelensky by his decree banned the activities of all left-wing parties in Ukraine for the duration of martial law.
On May 14, 2022, Zelensky signed a law that greatly simplifies the procedure for banning parties. In accordance with this law, the Lviv court will begin to consider the claims of the Ministry of Justice to ban opposition associations.
There is no doubt that the Ministry of Justice will still file lawsuits to ban opposition parties.
