On March 31, the Security Service of Ukraine detained Gleb and accused him of "high treason" (Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), and a month later also of "war propaganda" (Article 436).
Lyashenko's publications on social networks became the subject of accusations.
Now the blogger is in a pre-trial detention cell.
Gleb himself was not brought to court. Also, he could not hear and see the court session via video link, which is a gross violation of the rights of the accused.
Gleb's mother, Svetlana, believes that the court in Kyiv should consider her son's case, since he wrote his publications in this city.
But the Court of Appeal decided that Gleb Lyashenko will be judged by the Sykhovsky District Court of Lviv.
