Prosecutors accuse women of a crime described in article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. This article was introduced into the code recently and provides for liability for denying, justifying, glorifying "Russian aggression."
The prosecutor's office reports that the women had "pro-Russian sentiments" and "denied the fact of the genocide committed by the Russian military in Bucha and Irpin."
The women called the events in Bucha "a staging by the Ukrainian authorities, organized to incite national hatred."
One of the suspects also denied "the massacre of Ukrainian citizens at the railway station in Kramatorsk, blaming Ukrainian servicemen for it."
The investigation into the case of the accused women is conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine in the Rivne region and they may end up in prison for 3 years.
Press publications from different countries reflect different points of view on the events in Bucha and Kramatorsk.
There is an opinion that the events in Bucha and Krasatorsk are actually staged by the Kyiv authorities in order to obtain military, financial and information support from Western countries, as well as raise anti-Russian hysteria in Ukraine.
UN Secretary-General Guterres has proposed an independent inquiry into these events. However, Zelensky accuses all those who offer an independent investigation of following "Russian narratives."
Earlier, we wrote about mass repressions against Ukrainians who expressed their opinion in Zhytomyr region, neighboring Rivne.
The goal of mass repressions is to suppress the remnants of dissent in Ukraine, destroy critical thinking and force Ukrainians to unconditionally believe in the official propaganda of the Kyiv authorities.
In Hannah Arendt's classic The Origins of Totalitarianism and Orwell's novel 1984, this state of society has already been described.
And it is called TOTALITARISM.
