It is a crime to say that in Ukraine there is a meager pension, everything is expensive, utility bills cannot be paid, people are poor, all Russian-language books and books about the Patriotic War have been confiscated from libraries.
We continue the information about how the police of the Zhytomyr region conducts mass raids among those residents of the region who openly express their views: https://www.facebook.com/100064479710528/posts/349387263887261/.
On April 18, 2022, the police, together with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), announced a suspicion of "collaboration activities" to a 43-year-old resident of Andrushivka.
His fault is that in a local store, in the presence of visitors, he expressed support for the actions of the Russians.
The guilt of a 53-year-old resident of Zhytomyr is that she reposted content on social networks, where "there were accusations of Ukraine in Nazism and calls for flash mobs in support of the Russian army."
A day earlier, the police searched the home of a pensioner from Korostyshev, who spoke out in social networks in support of Russia, took away his computer, "enemy symbols" and "blanks" for posts and comments on social networks. The pensioner was handed a suspicion of "collaboration activities."
Also, on similar charges, repressions were applied to
64 - a summer resident of Novograd-Volynsky district;
52 - a summer resident of the Berdichevsky district;
51 - a summer resident of the city of Zhytomyr;
two residents of the city of Korosten;
another resident of Zhytomyr and one resident of the Berdichevsky district.
And "things that testify to her pro-Russian position" were seized from the house of a resident of Zhytomyr.
Physical evidence of the "criminal activity" of the inhabitants of the Zhytomyr region, as follows from the police photo, is a letter with complaints that
"the fascist party Svoboda rules in the city;
"a meager pension, everything is expensive, it is impossible to pay utility bills, people are poor";
"All Russian-language books and books about the Patriotic War were confiscated from the libraries."
All those accused face 15 years in prison.
This police information suggests that eight years of repression for expressing one's views has not silenced all Ukrainians.
And that the Kyiv authorities are afraid of expressing the views of Ukrainians, because they apply such cruel accusations against pensioners and old women.
