The Telegram channel “Our goal is peace” writes: “As for the direction of fire on the car in which Zhvania was, “his body is in the temporarily occupied territory.” There was another person in the car who survived.”
That is, either Zhvania was killed by fire from the territory controlled by the Ukrainian army, or he was killed in this territory and his body was moved by car to the checkpoint of Russian troops.
David Zhvania is known for consistent criticism of the Kyiv authorities under Presidents Poroshenko and Zelensky.
Earlier, Gerashchenko and other officials of the Kyiv authorities announced the existence of a special service that kills opponents of the regime without trial or investigation.
