On April 23, 2022, the "law on collaborators" came into force in Ukraine.
The law introduces Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. It establishes that for any cooperation or support for the actions of representatives of the Russian Federation, a person can receive up to 12 years in prison.
Thus, all residents of the Kherson, Zaporozhye, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk regions of Ukraine, who simply live in the territories controlled by Russian troops, risk being brought to serious criminal responsibility.
