On July 7, 2022, it became known that the Primorsky District Court of the city of Odessa sentenced a 57-year-old local resident to 1 year in prison for selling items with Soviet symbols.

It sold 17 metal flasks, 6 metal folding cups, 6 emblems and 15 badges with Soviet symbols and "USSR" inscriptions.
The woman pleaded guilty.
She was born in the Republic of Bashkortostan (Russian Federation) but is a citizen of Ukraine.
The court also released the woman from prison on the condition that she would not commit such crimes over the next year.
