On July 1, 2022, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the law "on the optimization of labor relations": https://itd.rada.gov.ua/billInfo/Bills/Card/39366.

Now the owners of enterprises can force Ukrainians to work 60 hours a week (previously it was 40 hours).


That is, in Ukraine there is now a 10-hour working day with one day off per week.

The new law also introduces a simplified procedure for dismissing an employee.

That is, simply, the owner will be able to dismiss the worker at will.

Also, the owners of enterprises will no longer pay wages to workers mobilized into the Ukrainian army.

The elimination of social rights in Ukraine began at least 8 years ago, after the most reactionary part of the capital came to power.

Now, taking advantage of "patriotic" mobilization and militaristic sentiments, comprador capital is finally liquidating the welfare state of Ukraine.

Weak words of protest against this law, which were uttered by the trade unions, which merged with the Kyiv authorities in a "patriotic" impulse, could not and will not be able to stop the anti-social "reforms" of comprador and transnational capital.
