We continue the reportage of Lyudmila Gladka from the trial in Kyiv of political prisoners Alexander and Mikhail Kononovich.
The brothers were not brought to court on June 30 and July 1 and spoke via video link:
"Experts do not consider the actions of the Kononovich brothers in the social network to be criminal. Why are they being tried?
Alexander Kononovich:
- When a person enters military service, he does not swear an oath to Zelensky, he does not swear an oath to Poroshenko or any authority. He gives an oath to the people of Ukraine.
Watch this video until the end. Sasha recalled that the ability to criticize the authorities is guaranteed to the people of Ukraine by the Constitution. And I read out a fragment on the results of the examination. The experts analyzed the statements of the brothers Kononovich in the social network. They, judging by the conclusions of experts, are not a crime.
