I get asked a lot about how to optimize resumes and cover letters for the global tech market. When I started my remote job search back in 2015, I didn't know most of the things I know now and it took me almost 2 years before I landed my first remote jobs in tech. I learned everything the hard way and now it takes me 2 months to find a new remote job.

There are a lot of things that make your resume more appealing for global remote companies. A lots of cultural nuances but if I were to recommend a single thing you can do right now to improve your resume it would be the Harvard Resume Guide. https://ocs.fas.harvard.edu/files/ocs/files/undergrad_resumes_and_cover_letters.pdf?m=1598037165

To add a little bit more weight to it. This guide and template is used by the Harvard students and it helps them land their first jobs in top tech companies with almost no professional experience other than summer internships. I believe it will definitely help you stand out from the crowd of applicants who don't know about these simple guidelines.
