🌟 Thursday Teaching Tip 🌟

Students won't always have a teacher beside them when they encounter unfamiliar English.

Whether they're watching videos, reading comments online, or listening to conversations, learners often need to figure out meaning on their own.

Informal English can be challenging because of shortened forms, unfamiliar expressions, fast-paced speech, and context-dependent meanings.

Helping students notice clues, make connections, and confirm meaning can support more confident communication.
