Did you know Vermont is known as “The Green Mountain State”? About 75% of the state is covered in trees, and Vermont is the top producer of maple syrup in the United States! 🍁🥞

🌧️ “Mud season” is the messy period between winter and spring when melting snow turns dirt roads into mud.

🧄 Every September, Bennington hosts Garlic Town, USA event where visitors can enjoy everything from garlic bread to garlic ice cream!

Classroom idea: Use “mud season” as a starting point. Ask students to brainstorm English expressions for different seasons and types of weather, then use their new expressions in short sentences.
