Telegram has quietly switched its default TON blockchain explorer from Tonviewer to TONScan.

The change reportedly came after casino advertisements appeared on Tonviewer’s homepage, potentially exposing Telegram users to gambling content when viewing blockchain transactions.

The switch was first spotted in Telegram’s test environment before appearing in production.
