Authorities in Nizhny Tagil accuse Ilya Pylaev of using paid Telegram reactions to financially support a person linked to a terrorist organization.

Total alleged amount: just 1,148.29 rubles.

He is being held until October 4 and could face up to 15 years in prison.

Telegram Stars are officially a virtual currency used for paid reactions, gifts and digital content.
