Whatever you're going through today, whatever is hurting you, whatever you're struggling with, I want you to remember something. There is no problem in your life too big for God. None. And sometimes the greatest thing you can do is admit that you can't carry it all yourself.

I look around every day and see so much anger, negativity, complaining, and division. People feeding into it, pouring gasoline on the fire, and spreading more misery. And truthfully, it breaks my heart, because I know there's a better way to live. I know because I've lived on both sides of it.

I've experienced tremendous loss, heartbreak, addiction, alcoholism, and the painful consequences of my own terrible choices. I've hurt people I loved, and I've done things I'm certainly not proud of. I've paid some very heavy prices in my life. There were times I genuinely believed there was no way out. And that's why I'm so transparent about my past. I'm not concerned about what the world thinks of me. I know where I've been, I know what God brought me through, and I know who I am today because of His grace.

But here's what changed everything for me. I finally surrendered. Not halfway, not with conditions, but completely. I stopped trying to control everything, got out of my own way, and gave my life to Jesus Christ. And that surrender didn't just change my circumstances. It changed my heart, my thinking, my priorities, and the way I see the world.

Does that mean I never have another bad day? Of course not. I still face stress, worries, financial concerns, health challenges, and the same uncertainties everyone else faces. But I no longer have to face them alone. I've learned that when God comes first, even the things I cannot understand or control can be placed in His hands. And what a tremendous freedom that is.

There's a little acronym I've carried with me that I want to share with you today. It's the word JOY. Jesus, Others, Yourself. In that order. Put Jesus first, find purpose in loving and helping others, and stop allowing your own worries, fears, and ego to consume your life. You'll be amazed at how your perspective begins to change.

If there's one thing I hope you take away from my words this morning, it's this. Stop believing you have to figure everything out by yourself. Stop allowing yesterday's mistakes to steal today's blessings. Stop giving so much of your precious life to things you cannot control. You are loved, you are forgiven, and your past does not have to determine your future.

Maybe today is the day you finally surrender that burden you've been carrying. Maybe today is the day you stop fighting a battle that was never meant to be fought alone.

Sometimes the greatest breakthrough in life comes when we finally get out of the way and let the Lord in.
