White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia revealed that she had only a few hours to prepare for her first press briefing.

Speaking with Sean Hannity, Zacharia explained that she didn't receive her briefing materials until the morning of her appearance before reporters. Despite the short notice, she said she was determined to take on the responsibility and grateful that President Trump had placed his confidence in her.
